Colossians 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
Having a thankful heart can change the way you see life. It opens you to enter into God’s blessings, His peace and joy. Having a thankful heart will touch the heart of God. When we are thankful, God’s goodness touches our lives and showers us with more of His blessings.
Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.
David even told us to enter into his gates with thanksgiving.
Psalm 100:4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise, give thanks to him and praise his name.
When Paul and Silas were cast into prison, instead of complaining they prayed and sang praises unto God. (Acts 16:25)
Under there circumstances they lifted there hands unto God with a thankful heart and began to sing praise. Why? Because they believed Jesus.
Matthew 5:11 Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me 12 Rejoice and be glad because great is your reward in heaven.
They took God’s word seriously, Acts 16:26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken.
Are you in despair, discouraged feel like you are in a place of bondage, angry, bitter, if you want to experience your suddenly then be thankful unto God and then things will start shaken off of you.
Hebrews 12:28 Therefore since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken let us be thankful and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.
God’s kingdom cannot be shaken , but the enemy’s kingdom can be shaken when we have a heart of thankfulness, of praise and worship.
2 Corinthians 2:14 But thanks be to God who always lead us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 Give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield, my heart trusts in him and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.
Psalm 75:1 We give thanks to you, O God we give thanks, for your Name is near men tell of your wonderful deeds.
Lord may we always have a thankful heart towards you , we know that you will give us our heart desires as we delight ourselves in you ,we give you thanks in all our circumstances for you are our strength, our peace and joy and our hearts trusts in you. Thank you Lord.
