Isaiah 55:6 Seek the Lord while he may be found, call on him while he is near.
Seeking the Lord means seeking his presence, having a desire to be with him. The Bible repeatedly calls us to seek the Lord.
Psalm 105:4 Look to the Lord and his strength, seek his face always.
As we seek his face he will make known his presence , for in his presence there is fullness of joy and as he touches our heart it will have an impact on our lives our walk and our talk, and he will fill us..
Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they will be filled.
As we surrender all to him he will fill us with his love, his glory, his peace, his joy.
Numbers 14:21 As surely as I live and as surely as the glory of the Lord fills the whole earth
Submit all to the Lord, need a healing He is our healer, need his touch reach out to him.
Psalm 27:8 My heart says of you Seek his face! Your face Lord I will seek.
Matthew 7:8 Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives he who seeks finds and to him who knocks the door will be opened.
Jeremiah 29:12 You will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Lets look at David’s life, he was passionate in seeking God, he had a heart for God, and the Lord blessed him. His soul longed for God, The Lord was his light and salvation. As he seek God he did not fear, he had confidence, he sang shouts of joy.
Psalm 27:3 Though an army besiege me my heart will not fear. Though war break out against me even then will I be confident. 4 One thing I ask of the Lord that is what I seek that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.
7 Hear my voice when I call, O Lord be merciful to me and answer me 8 My heart says to you Seek his face Your face Lord I will seek. 13 I am confident of this I will see the goodness of the Lord 14 Wait for the Lord be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.
1 Chronicles 22:19 Now devote your heart and soul to seeking the Lord your God.
Psalm 40:16 But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you, may those who love your salvation always say The Lord be exalted!
Thank you Lord, as we seek your face you will reveal yourself to us, we will hunger and thirst for your presence. Its in your presence we will be filled with peace and joy. Psalm 42:1 As the deer pants for streams of water so my soul pants for you O God. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they will be filled. Psalm 107:9 For He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.
Psalm 34:10 Those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.Amen!
