Prayer is meant to be one of the most powerful aspect of a life of faith. It has power to change circumstances, transform our lives and give us a peace that passes all understanding .Prayer is the key to every situation. It opens God’s heart to hear, heal and answer.
Psalm 65:2 You who hear prayer to you all men will come.
With prayer we need to have faith.
Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
God will answer and reveal himself in His timing.
Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thought, neither are your ways my ways declares the Lord.
God is loving and gracious to all who comes to him. He desires to have intimacy with us , to bring Him honor, to respect his integrity, to believe in his word, trust in his love and appropriate His promises.
A heart of prayer is communicating with God. It is agreeing with Him with our heart, soul, and mind.
Its knowing with confidence and assurance.
1 John 5:14-15 This is the confidence we have in approaching God, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us whatever we ask we know that we have what we asked of him.
We need to be specific and stand on God’s word.
Psalm 119:65 Do good to your servant according to your word O Lord.
You have to know the promise of God and stand on his Word.
The bible says to ask
John 16:23-24 I tell you the truth my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name 24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive and your joy will be complete.
God already knows what you need. He wants you to ask him and believe that he will do it.
Be positive in your thinking
Philippians 4:8 Finally brothers whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable if anything is excellent or praiseworthy think about such things.
Let your thoughts affirm what you’ve been asking, don’t let doubt creep in.
Guard your mind
2 Corinthians 10:5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
Guard your mind against the enemy, You need to know God’s word, by meditating on His Word

Joshua 1:8 Do not let this book of the law depart from your mouth, meditate on it day and night so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Giving thanks to God
Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your requests to God.
Thanking Him is affirming your faith believing that it has been already done .
James 5:15 The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
Psalm 6:9 The Lord has heard my cry for mercy the Lord accepts my prayer.
1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you Lord for to you all men come and you hear and deliver us from all of our troubles. As we meditate on your word and be obedient to your word that you will stay true to all of your promises. We will walk in faith in trusting you and guard our minds and stand firm on your word and giving thanks and praise for you are faithful towards all your promises Amen!
