Praying is when we communicate with God our Father. God desires to have fellowship with his children. Where his children can go to him for anything. When we don’t spend time in prayer the enemy can come an attack you at anytime.
1 Peter 5:8 Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
When we spend time with God he makes you stronger in him as we put on the whole armor of God
Ephesians 6:10 Finally be strong in the Lord and his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
We cannot stay strong if we don’t spend time with God. This requires seeking him diligently, earnestly with all of our hearts. Your earnest prayers will bring forth wonderful results as you seek him with all of your heart, soul and mind.
Luke 22:44 Jesus prayed earnestly to the point that his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.
Elijah also prayed earnestly that no rain would fall and none fell for three and a half years. Then he prayed again , then it rain. (James 5:17)
The enemy knows what our prayers can do, he will try to distract us, one way is condemnation. He knows our prayers has great powers and will bring results. Another one of his tactics is worry, fear, anxiety he knows it will keep you from praying.
Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your request to God.
To busy, don’t have time I am tired. Don’t let anything come between your Father and you .
Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 37 No in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
If you hold unforgiveness it will hinder you from receiving from God.
Mark 11:25 And when you stand praying if you hold anything against anyone forgive him so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.
Be encouraged to pray earnestly by seeking his face and never give up, prayer is the key to every situation in our lives.
1 Thessalonians 5: 16 Be joyful always 17 pray continually 18 gives thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
James 5:16 The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
Lord I know you hear our prayers as we seek you earnestly with a pure heart you will strengthen us. We will pray continually and give you thanks, for all of our prayers are powerful and effective in Jesus name.
