There is a deeper side to we people that Facebook cannot show. For those of you that feel you may not measure up to all the “others,” know that you can count me in too.

My purpose in writing is not to dump on FB. You who are reading this are probably on FB.  You each have a story that goes much deeper than what a bumper sticker can say.

December is a stressful time for many, but your story is amazing. Whenever I make time to listen to you, I am amazed at who I am listening to.

We did our play “The Nativity” at the “Follow The Star” event in Belen, NM. We all saw a star that night.  It lights me up still.  It takes away my heavy load of burden.  It reminds me “The Star of Bethlehem” is the star for all the other stories out there.  Your story and mine.  It lightens a heavy load.

The Bible original of these stories is about a poor virgin, an unsure of his place husband to be, a frustrated religious man, and an old barren woman his wife. There was another woman whose claim to fame was she prayed faithfully and was a widow for 84 years.  Another was an articulate old man whose major accomplishment was that he was promised by God that he would not see death until he could see and touch the Messiah.  An angel went to shepherds watching their flock by night.  They were the first ambassadors.  Can you tell me their names?….. That’s the point.

These were and still are the stars of Bethlehem. His star – their star.  His story – their story.  His star – my star.  His story – my story.

The story continues….

Shepherds….

The story is the same, and the choice to be in His Play is the same choice.

The Play takes the stress away! So play, pray, and” look up!”

He is not an ideal … that’s Santa’s job. He is a Real…..

He comes to shepherds who believe the miracle that comes to the simple. Those with a deep need … to find their story in His.
