Israel issues travel warning after IS attacks
Israel’s Counter-Terrorism Bureau posted a warning to Israelis travelling abroad to be on the alert for attacks by the Islamic State (IS) terror militia. The warning comes a day after senior officials from the US, Russia, Europe and the Middle East prepared to gather in New York this week to address the battle against IS. US Secretary of State John Kerry was in Moscow Tuesday to hold preparatory meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin and emerged to tell reporters that the Obama Administration has backed off its demand that Syrian president Bashar Assad must leave office as part of plans to bring the conflict in Syria to an end and concentrate efforts on defeating IS.
