Update on Pastor Larry Moss Memorial Service

The Memorial Service for long time Albuquerque Pastor Larry Moss is set for sometime in early January at Heights Cumberland. Pastor Harry Chapman of Westside Cumberland told me that Larry’s wife Lou is making plans to make her way to Albuquerque in that time frame. We will let you know when the exact date and time has been set. Let us keep Lou and family in prayer during this time of mourning. The service for Larry in Kentucky, was in the Church he and Lou were married in.  In the meantime I have to share with you a plaque I found that we created when Larry was put into the KKIM Hall-of-Fame back when KKIM celebrated 35 years of service to God in New Mexico. The celebration was held at Heights Cumberland in 2007. I love this man so much! He guided me during my time as manager of KKIM, he is the one that God sent to me to tell me my days at KKIM had ended and that God had told him I was to move out and preach the Word of God to the World. I had forgotten, that in 2007 we had extended Larry’s radio program, “Straight Talk”  to Saturday nights during a news block we did at that time. Not only was his Preaching and Devotional programs popular, his commentary on news was very popular. People were always wanting a CD of Larry’s radio programs. He really belongs in the New Mexico Broadcasters Hall-of-Fame! He was one of the best in at looking at the days news from a Biblical perspective. One afternoon after Larry and Lou had moved to Kentucky and I was still doing New Mexico News and Views, I had scheduled Larry to be on the program live by phone from Kentucky. Well, Larry loved fishing, and he said he would be down by the river fishing and would have his phone with him. But, he never answered that day, and I got worried because when Larry said he would do something, he would do it! Well, I finally got him on his cell the next day….he had fallen asleep on the river bank!!!!! The retirement he deserved! Amen! But as many as you know, he preached in three Churches during his retirement in the LaCenter, Kentucky area. Read More About Larry and Also Listen to My PodcastLarry Moss
