Faith in Action By Jeanne Theriault
James 1:22 Do not merely listen to the word , and so deceive yourselves. Do what is says 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and after looking at himself goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.
When we live by faith it pleases God, we all have a measure of faith. Our faith increases when we meditate on the word of God and put it into action.
Romans 10:17 Faith comes by hearing and by hearing the word of God.
Our faith is our victory! Faith without action is ineffective. Our faith should reflect in our action.
2 Corinthians 5:7 We walk by faith not by sight.
Hebrews 10:38 But my righteous one will live by faith and if he shrinks back I will not be pleased with him.
If you believe God’s word then you act out in what you believe. Your faith is a reflection of what you do. ,Its an attitude of the heart, being a doer of the Word. Faith in action gives us strength, hope, and stability. Faith conquers fear. Faith is a gift from God. Faith is not just a word but a way of lifestyle. Sometimes faith in action is simply resting in the confidence that God has already taken care of your situation.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
2 Corinthians 4:18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen but on what is unseen.
Faith is confidence, assurance, and certainty in God and his word. It is believing when you do not see it in the natural. Faith has to arise above our fear and our feeling and rest in God’s word. When God makes a promise, faith believes it, hope anticipates it, and patient quietly awaits it.
Galatians 5:5 But by faith we eagerly await through the spirit the righteousness for which we hope for.
God ‘s word comes into action when we walk in faith, we need not question his word or promises. We need to exercise our faith by taking action. We must do our part
first before God does his. When obeying God and having faith it will give you results. You can’t obtain the promises of God except through faith. It takes faith to get results from the Word.
2 Corinthians 4:13 It is written I believe, therefore I have spoken with that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak.
1 John 5:14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us 15 and if we know that he hears us whatever we asked we know that we have what we asked of him.
2 Corinthians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are yes in Christ and so through him the amen is spoken by us to the glory of God.
Lord as we stay true to your word , to persevere and hold on to the promises and believe and not doubt , w will receive whatever we ask in your name. You stay true to your promises for you are a faithful God. Amen
