Today I start a sermon series on, “Fear is Not of God” Part 1. It is based on Isaiah 41:10-11. There is so much to be in fear of in this world! But God tells us we are not supposed to fear and then he says, “Do not be dismayed.” God says, “DO NOT FEAR and DO NOT BE DISMAYED!” How many of you are already in trouble? What is it that causes you fear? Bankruptcy? Crashing of the stock market? which we are seeing today as I record this sermon. Do you fear Divorce? Disease? Crime? Your children’s safety? Death?
