GOD’S PERSPECTIVE ON THE STATE OF THE STATE By Barbara Gould
When we look at what has been going on in the State Capital in Santa Fe, we must realize that God has lost His place in the City of Holy Faith, and, for sure, the devil is in the details. To be honest, not even fools would make some of the decisions, laws and regulations that some of these men and women have made. They cause citizens of integrity (even if they are not believers in Jesus Christ) to regret being counted as residents of such a State. It is indeed shameful!!!
Yes, we are disgruntled about the results concerning the absolutely wicked and unrighteousness decisions, laws and regulations that our lawmakers have set in place over the years. However, to place things in perspective, there are consequences to our actions or rather our inactions. For so long, the Body of Christ did not become actively engaged in building the Kingdom of God. For years, the Body of Christ has been building “church” and not the Kingdom of God. Jesus Christ said: “I will build My Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” We are not called to build the Church, that’s the function of the Head of the Church, the Lord Jesus Christ. We the Church are called to build the Kingdom of God!!!
The failures of our Governor and Legislature are as a result of the Church not taking its place for so many years. As a State we have built upon a foundation of pride, arrogance and liberal unrighteousness.
It is so sad to see what we have become, but this condition did not just begin. It has been established on many years of lawlessness, political bigotry and prejudice, not upon God-fearing principles and definitely not in line with the American Constitution. Therefore, it will take some time to be dismantled.
It is amazing that our governors and state representatives could make laws that would create an atmosphere of lawlessness, resulting in the highest crime rates in our country, highest abortion rates in our country, ridiculous criminal justice where people are allowed back on the streets to perpetuate their crimes over and over and not experience just punishments. And now, the political correctness has gone bunkers where a state representative can openly declare that it is discrimination for Christians to succumb to the threats of the minority unrighteous groups that are hollering and have been hollering louder for so many years.
The Body has awakened. We will not stop being bold. We will not stop shouting the Word of God. We will not stop hollering until we are hollering — declaring and decreeing — above the clamor and noise of the devil’s bunch!!!
Things will change!!! God rules and reigns in the universe of men!!! We will declare and decree that Almighty God rules and reigns in the State of New Mexico from the State Capitol to the man on the street!!! We will declare that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father!!! As the Word of God says: “every knee shall bow of things in heaven, things on earth, and things under the earth.” We will speak only what God says and stand in our place as salt and light.
We must be encouraged knowing that God does answer prayer. His Word shall not return to Him void, it shall accomplish what He sends it to do, it shall prosper in the thing whereon He sends it. Jesus tells us to ask and we shall receive and God is not a man that He should lie. What He has said He will do, what He has spoken, He will make it good. We can afford to believe Him.
Can we continue to believe together that God will not fail us; that God has great things in store for this State and if we do not draw back but continue to praise and worship the God of our salvation, speak His Word over our State and allow the Holy Spirit to target the areas that God wants to tear down, build up and dismantle, we will see the change.
Remember, we are the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. The battle is the Lord’s, the victory is ours. There is no retreat!!! Only CHARGE!!! Let’s charge, marching forward with Jesus Christ our Commander- in- Chief, empowered by the Holy Spirit!!!
Things are changing!!! Remember the things that seen are temporal (subject to change), but the things which are not seen are eternal. We are the winners!!! We are more than conquerors!!! We are world overcomers!!! By faith in the finished work of Calvary, we will shout the victory and believe for miracles!!!
As the apostles prayed in Acts 4:29, “Lord behold their threatenings: and grant unto your servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, by stretching forth your hand to heal; and that signs and wonders be done in the name of your holy child, Jesus.”
