Good Morning Beautiful People…Isn’t It Great To Be You?
Wow, 2016 another New Year and another New Beginning. This morning as I sat in front of the mirror half praying and half talking to God of how much I wanted to accomplish this year, I began to laugh right out loud. On face book this morning there was a post shared about wearing makeup. The pastor said he believed woman should wear make-up, how much, depended upon her. I thought to myself gee is he talking to me? I have noticed a few new wrinkles lately. I know some women who don’t wear make-up and they look great too. Hmmm…I began to ponder.
Then, I reach my hand in my makeup jar that a dear friend and photographer made for me. Vicki Saucier (Vicki Saucier Photography) of Easton, Maine; you helped make me believe the truth of God’s Word that needed to go deeper in me. Every morning for over a year now, I put my hand in a glass jar that read “Blessed, One-Of-A-Kind, Anointed, I Am Loved, I Am A Daughter of A King, Precious, Chosen, Beautiful” and had a crown, flower and a heart on the top. Every morning as I sat in the mirror to apply my make-up, I would recite those words. If you recite words long enough you believe them. The Bible says we have whatsoever we believe. Isn’t it great you don’t need to be like anyone else nor look like everyone else? You can be you, the wonderful person you are. You were created in the image of God Himself. Do you Believe this?
Today, I don’t know what you are bringing with you in 2016. One thing I know for sure, you need to leave behind 2015. Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? Isaiah 43:18-20

Today, let the past go, all of it. The good, the bad and the ugly and trade it all for a new beginning. Believe God’s Word in 2016.
