Good Morning Beautiful People…. Santa Is Gone, But Jesus Remains
Well by now most of the Christmas items are put away and everything you had hoped for Christmas is a fleeting thought of maybe next year. Well guess what? It is next year. The dreams, the visions, the future plans; this is the month to get them out, dust them off and talk to God Himself about them. He is the only one that can fulfill them. Santa is long gone, but Jesus say’s This Is Your Year!
Many folks for Christmas asked Santa for things that were far beyond His reach. I remember a few years ago someone asking me for something I did not have the expertise to buy, nor the money to purchase, or the desire to purchase the item for that person. There was not the intimate relationship, just merely being their Santa. Well guess what? They were mad; actually they were livid at me. I had not met their selfish desire. I was not their Santa. The gift I had chosen to give was not of their liking.
I am so thankful that we can go to Jesus with every desire, every need, every concern and He is waiting to fulfill it according to His plan and purpose for our lives. If He gave us everything we desired immediately, He would be like our own personal Santa. He loves us way too much for this. He desires the intimacy and the personal relationship. He wants us to trust Him, to know He is our provider. He wants to walk with us daily and show us He Is The Risen King. To that we must say Hallelujah!
The journey can be funny at times. I accidently deleted a phone call yesterday. It was sort of an important call that I will need to return today. The message is long gone and I could not retrieve it as hard as I tried. I guess when my ear accidently hit the delete button; it took it to a place of no return. Jesus is just not like that. His plans, His purposes for your life are never deleted. He will work with you, He will strengthen you and He will bring it to pass. Continue to pray, read his Word and trust Him. Continue to declare This is my year!
Today, thank Him for His plan and adjust your plans to His. You will not be disappointed.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
Have A Blessed Day, For this is the Day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. Amen
