Good Morning Beautiful People…The Prayer Experience

Good Morning Beautiful People…The Prayer Experience

Have you ever attended a prayer experience? A couple of weeks ago on a Wednesday night, I attended A Prayer Experience.  It was a powerful night. Although, I want to do it again and again, I find myself still processing the first time through the seven stations put together that we could spend some quiet time with our Heavenly Father.

Adoration, Thanksgiving, Oblation, Petition, Intercession, Penitence, and Praise each had their own little station just waiting for us to enter in. You chose where you started and you chose where you ended. It was all based on the Lord’s Prayer from Matthew 6:9-13.

Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come.  Thy will be done in earth,  As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us.  And lead us not into temptation,  But deliver us from evil.  For thine is the kingdom,  The power, and the glory,  For ever and ever.  Amen.

Journey with me for the next seven days around the stations and have your own prayer experience. It is life changing, it truly is.

I started at the Adoration station. It was a quiet time lifting up of my heart and mind to God, asking nothing but to enjoy God’s presence. It was based on Hallowed be thy name. Christ is the light, bask in His glory. Enjoy quiet time with your Father. This was the prayer of Adoration.

Our Father, Our Creator, Redeemer, Comforter and Savior.

Who Art In Heaven. You are with the angels and the saints, bathing them in your light that they may be enlightened by your love, and dwelling within them that they may be filled with your joy. You are the supreme good, the eternal good, from whom comes all goodness, and with-out whom there is no goodness.

Hallowed be your name.

May our knowledge of you become ever clearer, that we may know the breadth of your blessings, the length of your promises, the height of your majesty, and the depth of your judgements.

St Francis inspired by the Lord’s Prayer

Psalm 116

I love the Lord, because He hath heard my voice and my supplications.

Because He hath inclined His ear unto me, therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.

Now take some time (even if it’s only a few minutes) to write or speak your own prayer of adoration.

Here’s my prayer for all of us today:

Father, may your people all across this globe adore you. May our relationship with you be an experience and not just a ritual. God, you are Holy and forever your name will be exalted on this earth. Today, as your people worship you in spirit and truth, may we all know you in a deeper, more intimate way, we pray. Amen

Have A Blessed Day Beautiful People…Adore Him!
