Part 3 of “The Promises of God” We also will extend this series over the next couple of weeks Lord Willing! Today I want to encourage you to be prepared to receive God’s promises. You need to understand that God honors those who honor Him! If your living for our Lord Jesus Christ 2 hours a week, don’t expect much! God is looking for the heart that is surrendered to Him! God is looking for the attitude of repentance. God is looking for those people who recognize their sin and are quick to acknowledge it and seek repentance. The Psalmist understood this and stated it very clearly in Psalm 66:18 “If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.”
