The winter storm tragedy for the Dairy Industry in New Mexico will be the loss of millions of dollars according to Walter Bradley of Dairy Farmers of America based in Clovis, NM. Dairy Farmers continue to dig out from Winter storm Goliath that struck New Mexico and Texas the day after Christmas. So far 6 1/2 million pounds of milk have been dumped because of the storm. Some media outlets are reporting that the storm caused as many as 20 to 30 thousand dairy cattle to die. Walter Bradley is my guest on FGGAM Newsmaker of the Day.
