I am so excited to start this study into the book of Nehemiah! “Being The Person God Wants You To Be” Nestled between the O.T. books of Ezra and Esther, you will find the book of Nehemiah. Originally, the books of Ezra and Nehemiah were combines writings. They were listed as separate writings in the Jewish Talmud. The books of Ezra and Nehemiah reveal to us, how God’s covenant people were restored from Babylonian exile back to their covenant land. Why had they been under Babylonian captivity? Because they had refused to repent and turn their hearts back to God! Sounds like America today!
