Do You Have Joy Indescribable?
Today let’s thank the Lord for joy. Tell Him if you need some.
Proverbs 15:30 Light in a messenger’s eyes brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones.
Psalm 16:11 You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
Psalm 5:11 But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.
Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say, Rejoice.
Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
1 Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Father, thank you for joy. Thank you that the joy of the Lord is our strength (Psalm 28:7). Today, all across this globe we join our faith for the God of all hope to fill us with joy and peace in believing, that we may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. (Romans 15:13). Thank you that our joy is not dependent on our circumstances, for we put all our trust in you.
Oh God, you said weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning. (Psalm 30:5) Thank you for that promise. Thank you for the joy of children. When the disciples argued who was the greatest, you took a little child and had him stand beside you. These were your Words, oh God in Luke 9:46-50 Then he said to them, “Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For it is the one who is least among you all who is the greatest.
We speak to the nations today and pray Psalm 47:1-3 Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy. For the Lord Most High is awesome, the great King over all the earth. He subdued nations under us, peoples under our feet.
We declare joy, joy, joy indescribable today and full of mercy. May the joy of the Lord be deep down in our hearts today. Amen
