Good Morning Beautiful People…Praise Him
Today is the final day of our seven day journey on The Lord’s Prayer. Thank you for taking this journey with me. One thing I know for sure is that God does hear and answer prayer. Amen
This is from my prayer experience at Family Christian Center here in Presque Isle, Maine.
We began the journey together as I traveled the stations all based on The Lord’s Prayer from Matthew 6:9-13.
We now have traveled together the Adoration, Thanksgiving, Penitence, Oblation, Petition, and Intercession Stations and now let’s travel into the Praise Station.
Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory, Forever and ever. Amen.
I picked up a paper that read Praise.
We Praise God, not to obtain anything, but because God’s Being draws praise from us.
For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory (Lord’s Prayer)
Prayers of Praise
Psalm 117
O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him in the firmament of his power.
Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
What is praiseworthy around you?
What glimpse of God of His Presence and His Promise have you seen lately?
Take a few moments and write out or speak out loud praises to the Lord.
Here’s my prayer for us today:
Father, we praise you. We praise you in the morning; we praise you throughout our whole day. Your praises are continually on our lips. From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, the name of the Lord shall be praised. (Psalm 113:3)
We come today, not asking for anything, but just lifting up our voices of praise. You have blessed us beyond measure and our cup runneth over. We just have to praise your Holy name. You are a good God and your presence is everything to us.
All across this globe today, praise the Lord. Amen
Have A Blessed Day Beautiful People…Praise Him!
