Syria War Shows No Sign of Moving Towards Cease-fire
The Islamic State (IS) terror militia sent suicide bombers into the heart of Damascus and Homs Sunday, killing 140 people, wounding many more and sending a powerful message that it does not feel bound by a recently announced general cease-fire. Other factions, including the Assad regime, have used such incidents as an excuse to continue their own attacks on their enemies, leading many analysts to question if a cease-fire is possible in the near-term.
