We are now into part 3 of “Being The Person God Wants You To Be” I just love Nehemiah, he just did not give “lip service” so that his listeners would feel better, He took their burdens on himself and he put feet to his prayer! What do you do? Throw out a simple 3-sentence prayer? Add them to a prayer list? Nehemiah wept, mourned, fasted and prayed! What a role model! There are times in the Christian life when we should be standing with hands raised high, in adoration and praise to the Most High God, and there are times when we should lower ourselves in submission to Him as we weep over the sin in our own lives and the hurt in the lives of others! The Christian who does not weep is the Christian who’s fast asleep!
