Will You Be Overtaken?

This morning at church a dear lady sang this song. Something stirred within me. He has indeed given us power. Rise up Christians; it’s time to rise up. Don’t be just a casual Christian, or a lukewarm Christian. You are either all the way in the Kingdom of God or you are not. He said in Revelation 3:16 So, because you are lukewarm–neither hot nor cold–I am about to spit you out of my mouth. Nobody should have to guess where you stand, nobody.
God has given us power according to His Word. In I Corinthians 4:19-20 But I will come to you soon, if the Lord wills, and I shall find out, not the words of those who are arrogant but their power. For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power. In Matthew 10:7-8 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand. “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give. “Do not acquire gold, or silver, or copper for your money belts, or a bag for your journey, or even two coats, or sandals, or a staff; for the worker is worthy of his support.
In Acts 3:12 When Peter saw this, he said to them: “Fellow Israelites, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? Again in Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Then in Luke 10:19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.
Lord, your Word is powerful. Your spirit living in us is powerful. Today, we will rise up, we will take a stand. (Will you?) Not my will Lord, but thine be done. It’s all about your Kingdom and it’s for your glory alone. Show your glory, your power through us today. Christians rise up, join your faith together with other believers across this land. Speak the Word, declare the Word and we should experience some powerful testimonies. It should look like a hurricane of souls being saved and miracles happening for He said in Mark 16:15-18 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well. Jesus living in us is powerful. Amen
