YAHOO NEWS: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that he had declined an offer to meet President Obama at the White House later this month because of the heated U.S. election campaign. Biden in Israel Amidst Whirlwind of Speculation

US Vice President Joe Biden was in Israel Tuesday for a meeting which the White House said would focus on regional developments including the war in Syria and the threat from the Islamic State (IS) terror militia. But a report in the Wall Street Journal fueled speculation that the visit had another purpose, to lay out the Obama Administration’s final effort towards a settlement between Israel and the Palestinians.
