Life is a gift! Let’s show God how grateful we are for the gift of life God has given to the world to believe.
The Scripture Verse Today is found in the book of Matthew, Chapter 20 and Verse 28. I will be sharing from the KJV at this time:
Matthew 20:28 (KJV)
28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
I think fb is a prime example of how much people need people, even if we try to deny it. We look to fb to share what is most important to us.
We look for people to like, agree, argue, conversation or just listen and understand. We love and miss people. We love people and sometimes we love to hate people if we were honest; but we know that can’t be our Way.
We need people in our life…no matter how much people can be people, and we want to sneak away from people… eventually we miss people.
Sometimes, I know I would love to even vent a bad day, but I know better on fb. Sometimes I would love to say a great Praise without concern it would sound like a brag, but I strive to know better.
It comes down to we need people. And honesty is a good start. When I started this post cooking dinner…. I needed music and am grateful for the people who perform entertainment. I needed to open a window and I am grateful for those who installed it.
Well really I just wanted to say that we are people who need people and that is okay. It is by God’s perfect design of people.
We miss people in our family and love to even peak into their life if they are far away. We pray for people.
People support people.
Bottom line we are imperfect people getting along in an imperfect world serving a perfect God and perfect Savior.
We are a blessed people and we are the family of God through Jesus. Thank God.
So…
Sometimes, like tonight, I bribe my son to eat a salad; and I ate all my kid’s Easter Candy…just finished today. So to me it’s all okay because of the Love God put in our hearts to love people. We are not perfect humans, we are made perfect in Christ. We are made spiritually perfect in love!
When I wrote this I was missing my favorite people, my husband, but I assured him that we were doing okay. Just that I missed him. And that is okay.
And, too, there is A people that are of the world. However, it is good knowledge to know that there is THE people of God through Christ Jesus, which are THE Children of God. We are all called to believe! God’s invitation is for you and for all who will believe! If we are willing? I encourage you to re-read the entire Chapter of this verse of Today! Matthew Chapter 20 talks about the Kingdom of Heaven is like unto … I love, love, love how Jesus teaches us to understand God’s Truth and Way and Life! Praise God and to God be the glory!
After I shared this on fb … partially modified today, Dewey asked me if I would post on FGGAM. The text come in at the most amazing time. I was grocery shopping –and I had forgotten that I had my Hope in Today Ministries shirt on. I didn’t go grocery shopping to be ministered to by people, but I was ministered to in Christ. The two workers who initiated the spiritual conversation expressed they were also ministered to by Jesus in me through Christ.
Then, as I was leaving and I received the text from Dewey Moede, and his text ministered to me a reminder that God had answered my morning prayer about something I had forgotten I had prayed about. I had prayed for encouragement in my work that I do in Hope in Today Ministries; and it was Christ in people who ministered to me. And also, Dewey shined a light for me to see clearly. Dewey was a light to me and he probably didn’t even know it until just now.
Yet, I will bear witness to that fact that when God blesses people, a blessing goes out and beyond just one person being blessed. We are blessed to be a blessing and I hope this is a blessing to you!
God bless you richly in the abundance of HIS grace and mercy with the riches of His Peace, Joy and Wisdom and full of faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these to know and believe is LOVE!
God is love. Abide in Jesus and God will abide in you; and so then you are equipped to minister unto the needs of someone you will know.
If we were in the same condition –How could we minister?
If there were no darkness in someone’s life –How could we shine a light?
If I said to you, “God loves you.” –That would be a light to someone who didn’t know. If they told me they didn’t understand and asked me to please write it down, that would be a light of confession in their soul.
If I told them, I don’t know how to spell love; and asked them to please spell love for me. That would be me needing a light, because there was something I didn’t know –and the fact that I confessed that I didn’t know was in fact a glimmer of that light to be ignited in the light of the knowledge of the grace of God in the face of Jesus Christ!
If you spelled “L O V E” to me –This would be an example of how to let that light of Jesus Christ come out of you to shine for God’s Glory in the dark area of my life.
We need each other’s portions –according the measure of faith God has given us to share with each other.
Don’t let the deception of Satan steal your portion; or make you doubt your value to God!
Know and Believe in Jesus as your Savior, make the Holy Spirit welcome in your Spirit and pray and ask God to help you Shine your light up on a hill for those to see and God’s knows need to know the portion in which God has given you to share!
