For God’s Glory Alone Ministries will be 4 years young this August. Everyday when I am in the war room, I seek the face of our Lord Jesus Christ. I find that I do less stupid things when I do that! It is a wonder feeling, I cannot describe it in words, what it is like to have the Lord by your side every moment of the day, guiding you through life, the mine fields and to the path of joy. I guess that is why I am so very excited each day to serve our Lord and the people of God. My growth spurt in my relationship came when the Lord pulled me out of KKIM Christian radio, where I served as manger for almost 8 years, oh! how I loved that ministry!
When I came home one night and told my Sharon, “Babe, I have to quit KKIM and go into full-time ministry, that is what the Lord has been telling for for months.” Sharon did not even bat an eye, she hugged me and said, “Let’s go” We are on this walk of faith together. Our household income was cut in more than half, but the Lord has provided each month for the ministry and our family.
The last 3 1/2 years has provided me the best education I have ever received, because it is from God, from walking with Him, from hearing his voice everyday, from having a constant conversation with Him almost every second of my life! I am being very frank here, and maybe this will show you why I am so passionate in what I do! I hear the Lord constantly, He keeps me out of trouble, as long as I do not follow the flesh. I still make stupid mistakes, when I get tired and wore down and the flesh comes in.
I understand the challenges of the walk with our Lord, the attacks by Satan.
The best education I have received since the Lord called me into FGGAM, is when I started to preach in Reserve, New Mexico at the First Baptist Church! Those folks accepted me for who I am and were so very thankful I would travel to come and share the Words of God and preach and teach! Preparing to preach and teach and listening to the Lord as what do say and do has taught me much, to wait for Him and His ways. I have learned much from getting to know so many people from different walks of life, young and old. It has been good to get out in God’s country. It has been such an awesome education in our Lord.
I love the folks in Reserve so very much and now I have the blessing of preaching at the First Baptist Church in Quemado, NM. I love those folks so much!
Counseling people has made me more loving. We all have a story to tell. We must not give up on each other, the Lord does not give up on us.
Doing sermon podcasts at FGGAM and on the HUB of New Mexico has taught me much, peolle are starving for God’s truth all over the world. When I look at the SoundCloud stats, I am in awe of God of all the foreign countries that are listening.
Reporting the news each day from a Biblical perspective is a calling from the Lord that we continue to work at daily.
God has surrounded me and Sharon with a strong Board of Director’s and we also have an Advisory Board. Accountability is a must for all of us.
Sharon says we have such Godly friends who support this ministry so faithfully. You all mean the world to us.
The Lord has had John Lay on my heart and mind for years. I first met John when he was with the ministry, “Time to Revive” out of Dallas. When Time to Revive held the revival in Santa Fe years ago, the first event in the brand new convention center, I got to know John. The Lord then had me get Kyle Martin, the head of Time to Revive on KKIM with a daily program. John was the chief organizer of the ministry. He also appeared on the radio ministry program from time to time.
Time to Revive is now a worldwide ministry, with REVIVAL as its purpose. John had much to do with the growth of the ministry, as God led him.
I never will forget the time I heard John preach in Asheville, NC, the capital of wicken witches! It was at the Revival Time to Revive was holding, I was taking part on two fronts, as a member of the Time to Revive Board and also covering it for KKIM radio.
John has spent a lifetime of bringing people together, the Body of Christ.
I saw it first hand as a radio station manager, a Board member of Time to Revive and the revival in Asheville was an eye opener for me.
John is now the owner of Dignity Hospice in Dallas and Houston. It is a very fast growing ministry, as the Lord is directing it through John.
God has now led me to ask John to serve on the FGGAM Advisory Board. Here is a picture of John and his comments as to what God has shown him about FGGAM.
FGGAM is a voice, a place, and a person. It is a voice similar to that of John the Baptist crying out for Repentance. It is also a place, at least virtually, where people can meet to discuss the important spiritual issues facing New Mexico and our country. It is a person in that is a outpouring of Dewey Moede’s own life.
Listen to my interview with John Lay here
“But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.” -Acts 20:24
Life Verse for Founding Pastor Dewey Moede
Preach the word [as an official messenger]; be ready when the time is right and even when it is not [keep your sense of urgency, whether the opportunity seems favorable or unfavorable, whether convenient or inconvenient, whether welcome or unwelcome]; correct [those who err in doctrine or behavior], warn [those who sin], exhort and encourage [those who are growing toward spiritual maturity], with inexhaustible patience and [faithful] teaching. -2 Timothy 4:2
God’s vision, not our vision.
Thanks for answering the call and started this amazing Ministry!!
God Bless you Stephen, than you for being on God’s team!
