The 2016 Conference of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) saw speeches by presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton Monday evening. Pundits offered cautious praise for Trump’s speech which was assessed by many to be his first serious policy address on foreign affairs. Clinton’s speech included sharp criticism of Trump as well as a re-iteration of the traditional Democratic Party positions on various issues related to Israel.
