Yesterday was such a blessed time of prayer at the New Mexico State Capital! Over 2,500 people gathered at the Roundhouse for the Franklin Graham Prayer Rally! Young and old! So many young people! PRAISE GOD! My favorite picture of the event is this picture of this little tike! God showed me as soon as I saw this precious little one, “This is why I have you do what you do.” The bottom line for me on the Rally, is that we are to stand in the gap for God. Stand for Him and His Word and ways!

My prayer this morning is this the Godly momentum that was created yesterday by Franklin Graham, will continue to spread over New Mexico and America! I pray for Unity, Pastors, Churches, The Body of Christ, Ministries…all coming together, that walls of territory collapse……This is the only way….I pray that all the hard work by Pastor Brian and Mercy Alarid and the 300 volunteers, has set an excellent example for all of us, as to what can happen when the Body of Christ comes together, not separated by walls and self interest. That type of mindset hinders the movement of God.

Be a mover and shaker for God! Amen! Stand strong! Do everything you can do, for God everyday! Give your whole life to God, that includes your pocketbook! News and Views-Dewey

I pray that the Godly momentum, the change of hearts for God continues……We will be watching and praying here in the war room.

Franklin Graham in New MexicoWhat a day it was at the New Mexico State Capital in Santa Fe, with the Franklin Graham Prayer Rally! WOW! DYNAMITE! More than 2,500 people attended the rally to pray for our nation and state. Thanks to Dear Friend Pastor Brian Alarid of Passion Church in Albuquerque and Southwest Regional Manager For The Graham Association for that attendance figure. Franklin Graham said, “I have zero confidence in the Republican party to turn our country around, zero confidence in the Democratic party to do so, but 100 percent confidence in God!!! Here are some of my takeaways from Franklin Graham’s comments: Christians have been pushed into the back, secularism has taken over, the walls of America are crumbling, the gates are wide open for sin.. We are in bad shape. Christians need to vet the candidates and vote! Christians need to run for public office. He said, “Can you imagine what would happen in the country if many of you ran for office in your state or communities, from the School Board, County Commission, City Council, Legislature to Federal Office! When the Berlin Wall came down, we got lazy, felt secure when the cold war ended and secularism moved into America and moved God out. Franklin quoted his Dad, Billy who is 97, a few times and talked about how Billy over the years encouraged Christians to vet the candidates with the Bible and vote and be part of the process. What I really loved is when Franklin stated that Billy had talked about how Pastors should share with their congregations whether candidates line up with the Bible, vetting them and then go vote.

I found it interesting that I just finished a sermon series on Nehemiah, and the scripture that Franklin used was from Nehemiah!

Nehemiah 1:1-11

The words of Nehemiah the son of Hacaliah. Now it happened in the month of Chislev, in the twentieth year, as I was in Susa the capital, that Hanani, one of my brothers, came with certain men from Judah. And I asked them concerning the Jews who escaped, who had survived the exile, and concerning Jerusalem. And they said to me, “The remnant there in the province who had survived the exile is in great trouble and shame. The wall of Jerusalem is broken down, and its gates are destroyed by fire.” As soon as I heard these words I sat down and wept and mourned for days, and I continued fasting and praying before the God of heaven. And I said, “O Lord God of heaven, the great and awesome God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, …

Read into Nehemiah, and see how Jerusalem was rebuilt in 52 days! What a man of God, Nehemiah was a praying man. It is time for America to come back to God and rebuild our nation once again on the foundation of God. Our walls are broken down and our gates are wide open to sin.

Pray about running for Public office. Vet the candidates in the upcoming election. Live a Godly life, let people see Jesus in you. Stand in the gap for God.

Pastor Brian Alarid told me that the rally had 300 volunteers, the most ever at a Franklin Graham prayer rally! PTL!

Pray with me that the Godly enthusiasm that was exhibited today will carry over into a powerful movement of the Holy Spirit here in New Mexico! That unity will occur in the Body of Christ, unity in Pastors, churches and ministries, no division, all for God! Amen!

I love the picture of the baby, that I took, God showed me why I do what I do! It is for HIM and HIS children! PTL!FGraham in SFGraham prayer rally 1Baby at Prasyer rallyHere is a recap from Pastor Brian Alarid:

We had over 2,500 people in attendance today for the Decision America prayer rally in Santa Fe and 300 volunteers. Franklin Graham the church to pray and repent and return to God with all our hearts, to get involved and run for public office, and vote for candidates who support biblical values. It was the largest prayer gathering at the state Capitol in New Mexico’s history that we are aware of.
