Today let’s pray the Beatitudes from Matthew 5
He said: Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Have you ever been told you are too radical? Has anyone ever said you take your faith to the extreme? Has anyone spoken negativity when you believed for a good report? Have people said things like that scripture doesn’t apply to you? Philippians 4:13. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. No, you can’t do it, who do you think you are? Has anyone spread lies against you? Have you been experiencing persecution?
Hmm, well guess what? Jesus knew it would happen and look what He says. Blessed.
Father, thank you for the dreams and visions you have placed in your people. Jesus, thank you for your Word. You said it is not by might nor by power but by your spirit. Thank you for strengthening your people as they meditate on your Word each and every day. It is life to their bones.
Oh God, though many today may be persecuted, they are not abandoned nor destroyed. (2Corinthians 4:9) They are Blessed.
Have A Blessed Day Beautiful People, For this is the day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. Amen
