Come Away and Rest…

Today, let’s pray these scriptures together about rest.

Mark 6:31

And he said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while.” For many were coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat.

Matthew 11:28-29

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Father, thank you that you call us all for a time of rest. Thank you for these times of refreshing. All the different seasons under the sun and you always rejuvenate us in your presence.

All across this globe today we pray many will come away and rest. May the Word of God by the power of the Holy Spirit be life to their very beings.

Thank you that we are your beloved. We find our rest in you , in you alone. May we all learn to enter into your rest.

Have A Blessed Day Beautiful People, For this is the day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. Enjoy your rest! Amen
