When trying to determine if your life is centered in the cross, you must ask: Do I embrace and extend forgiveness? If I had to sum up the message of the cross in one word, that word would be FORGIVENESS! You could also use words like, LOVE, SALVATION and SACRIFICE! Now here is where many blow it! For some reason, we expect God to extend an unlimited supply of forgiveness toward us, but we do not see the need to do the same toward our fellow man! If we really understand the forgiveness that Jesus has for us, we will also understand the forgiveness we are to have for one another. If we are unwilling to forgive someone, we don’t really understand God’s forgiveness and our life is not centered in the cross. Let us read Mark 11:25
