Israeli military leaders told Defense News this week that they have continued their high-level discussions with their Russian counterparts to make sure their respective air operations over Syria do not conflict despite the Kremlin’s recent announcement of a withdrawal. “When Putin said they were leaving, he didn’t say all his forces were leaving,” said IDF Brig.
