Cruz formally names Fiorina VP pick

Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz on Wednesday formally announced that Carly Fiorina will be his running-mate if he secures the GOP nomination.

At a rally in Indianapolis, Ind., less than a week before the state’s critical primary, Cruz lauded the former Hewlett-Packard CEO, who endorsed him after ending her own campaign in February.

Facing a must-win situation in next week’s primary in Indiana, Ted Cruz sought to shake up the GOP presidential campaign by naming Carly Fiorina as his vice presidential candidate.
