Ted Cruz on Tuesday night suspended his presidential campaign after losing to Donald Trump in Indiana’s primary.
Cruz had insisted he would stay in the race until the Republican convention in Cleveland this summer, and predicted he would beat Trump in a floor fight for delegates.
