Healing Waters…
Today, I wanted to share another short writing I penned in 2005 for a ministry I would start someday called Healing Water’s Women’s Ministry. I titled it Compassion.
My sister, your countenance looks downcast, your face does reflect.
Your burden looks heavy, your burden-is it too much to carry alone?
For you, my friend, God sent His Son and He also sent me your way.
I’m His love extended to you. How can I help you today?
If you can share your burden, I know Jesus will give you the strength to overcome.
You will have the victory.
As we journey the path of life together
We all have many of trials.
Jesus gave you to me, my sister
To love you and be His love vial.
I want to help you bandage your wounds
Until Jesus heals you where you hurt.
You see, my sister, my friend, we all walk through pain
And the storms they do blow.
But together with Jesus,
In Him, we both will grow.
Father, I pray for every woman across this globe today. I pray Lord you would bind up their wounds and make them whole again. Father you said it is not by might nor by power but by your spirit.
Oh God, you said in Psalm 107 v 20 you sent your Word and Healeth thee. Today, may many find the healing waters of Jesus Christ. You also said confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man (woman) availeth much. (James 5:15)
I pray you give courage to every woman across this globe today to share their burden with another. I pray together through the Word of God and each other and in accordance to your Word they will be healed.
May many women today touch the hem of Your garment, to God be all the Glory. Amen
