Defense Minister Moshe “Bogie” Ya’alon dropped a political bombshell on Friday morning by announcing his resignation from the Knesset and publicly declaring his reason to be a “lack of faith” in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The move came a day after Netanyahu announced he would replace Ya’alon with Yisrael Beytanu leader Avigdor Lieberman and despite reports that Ya’alon would be offered the post of Foreign Minister as compensation.
