The response has been powerful from the Windom area! Powerful movement of the Holy Spirit! Please keep the Windom Revival in your prayers! Dewey life verse

We thank the Lord for people like Dave Fjeld of the Cottonwood County Citizen who are helping to get the word out about the FGGAM  Revival in Windom August 26th and 27th! Here is an update that Dave wrote in the June 1st edition of the Citizen:

Revival plans come together
It may still be three months away, but plans for the Aug. 26-27 revival at the BARC Auditorium in Windom are already coming together.
In fact, the revival has a name: “Windom’s Hope in Jesus” and the starting time for the revival both nights is 5 p.m.
Dewey Moede, a pastor in New Mexico and Windom native, is spearheading the revival and is more than a little excited to bring the good news of Jesus to folks in his hometown, especially those who don’t know, or have never heard of, Jesus.
So, what developments have transpired since a story on the county page several weeks ago?
For starters, one of Windom’s finest pianists, Pat Fisher, will be tickling the ivories for the revival and Shari Hardaway Johnson, a popular Christian fiddle player from West Virginia, will be treating the audience to some outstanding music. Dewey says the two women will be leading revival-goers in music, both nights.
Dewey also will speak both nights.
Again, this is a non-denominational event, so Dewey has been rallying support for the revival by talking with pastors from churches in the Windom area. Such pastors as Rev. Gary Wiens at First Baptist and Pastor Sarah Tade at American Lutheran, the church in which Dewey was raised, have shown support for the revival. Retired pastor Dave Lightner, from Windom Evangelical Free, is also working locally to help make the revival a great event for Jesus.
And, as announced earlier, Windom natives Pastor Bob Elness, Franz Boelter and Paul Dokken will share their love for Jesus and the Windom community.
Dewey also is looking forward to honoring Windom Hall-of-Fame Coach Jack Kelly as well as all first responders.
“Fill the BARC for Jesus!” Moede says. “We want to come together in the love of Jesus to worship and praise Him and show our love for Cottonwood County, Jackson County — all of the Windom area.
“The Holy Spirit is moving so powerfully over Cottonwood County as we approach August.”
Here’s another interesting development. Dewey was contacted by Windom resident Clara Johnson, who, after hearing about the revival and Dewey’s need for prayer for the revival, gets together weekly with nine other women to pray for the revival.
When Clara contacted Dewey to tell him of her prayer meetings, she also told him, “Dewey, you must come and wake us up!”
Dewey’s reply: “The Holy Spirit is waking us all up!”
Things are shaping up and we’re still three months out. Stay tuned, there’s sure to be more updates.
Thank you Dave and the Cottonwood County Citizen for your kindness!
