Don’t Fret, It Will Be Ok…
Let’s pray about fretting.
Psalm 37: 1-4, 8-9 Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil. For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.
Father, thank you for your Word today. We see evil all around us and it sometimes does look like it is prospering. Your Word is settled and you said don’t fret. So we ask you to forgive us for fretting.
We will continue to do good and know you will give us the desires of our heart. Our hope is in you, Oh Lord, our trust is in you. Those that do evil won’t flourish. Thank you for your watchful eye over your people today, Oh God. Amen
