Have you ever been in a stormy situation in which it seemed as if the enemy was attempting to stir up everything in your life? In the mist of every storm , the Lord has a powerful solution. Mark 4:39 He got up rebuked the wind and said to the waves quiet be still! Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
Jesus arose and rebuked the wind…Because Christ lives in us we can take that same authority over every situation in our lives. When we speak peace and not allow fear to overcome us and allow God to work in our lives then you can be still and know that God is in control and will take care of it. In order to have that peace you need to know who you are in Christ for he is our peace. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you .I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. Christ is the Prince of peace…He wasn’t worried , He spoke peace and peace came not only to the wind and waves but also to the people in the boat. You can also experience that peace if you stay close to God in prayer and let his word lead you and guide you. Isaiah 26:3-4 You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast because he trusts in you. 4 Trust in the Lord forever for the Lord is the Rock eternal.
Thank you Lord for your peace your word declares that you bless your people with peace . Help us to not look at our problems but to look upon you as we seek you. Psalm 37:37 There is a future for a man of peace Psalm 34:14 Seek peace and pursue it.
