1 Timothy 2:1-2 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
Father, words are hard to pen this morning as we pray for Nice. The tragedy, the loss of lives that was so unnecessary. Jesus, please don’t let this go in vain. Lord, we ask you to comfort the families and bring this community together.
For every person that has suffered the loss of their loved one-touch them today as only you can. Lord we pray for the healing balm of Gilead to flow through Nice. May the love of Christ be shown in many ways to this hurting city.
Father, you said it is not by might nor by power but by your spirit. Pour out your spirit on Nice today we pray. You see everything and there is nothing that is hidden from you. The darkness, the evil of such a horrific crime that was carried out that cost people their very lives, we petition you today to intervene. Your arm is not to far that you cannot reach down and bring peace and healing to this community.
God, let the healing waters of Jesus Christ flow through Nice we pray.
God please expose these attacks on our world before they happen. Please shake the churches awake to pray. Let them pray for leaders as they need wisdom and strategy. You know and see the heart of every man. Nothing is hidden, nothing. You said to pray, and we are. You said to believe, and we are. Thank you for sending the warnings to the people that are listening for your voice. You protect your people.
Together, let’s pray the prayer of St. Francis of Assisi.
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace, Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy;
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen
Have a blessed day beautiful people and continue to pray for the families of Nice, France. Sow love where ever you journey today.
