Turtle_Bay_Resort,_Oahu,_HawaiiHebrews 4:9-10 So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who enter into God’s rest will find rest from their labors, just as God rested after creating the world. <NLT>

Hello loved ones! Today I want to share with you on rest, specifically God’s place of rest.

What is this place of rest? It is knowing that what He has said to you is true…no matter what anyone else says or what things look like. It is knowing Father as your source.

Gabi needed a computer for school and we were talking about it one day. We discussed how we could get one and couldn’t come up with a way so we asked the Father to take care of it. We forgot all about it, just left it with Him. A month later, we got a call from a friend of ours asking if Gabi needed a computer. I put her on the phone and watched the Father bless her through our friend. It was awesome!

That is one example of many, and it isn’t always about material stuff. It’s about whatever He has told you, believing Him and leaving it with Him. We struggle, or labor to enter into His rest when we allow our minds to take over. I could analyze things to death and talk myself out of anything He has told me, but I hear His still, small voice, “What have I told you?” “Do you believe Me even when you don’t see it?” “No worries, I’ve got this.”

Today, I want to encourage you to rest in Him and know that all is done, and trust Him and what He has told you…no matter what.

Hebrews 4:14b Let us cling to Him and never stop trusting Him. <NLT>

I love you all always and forever, Dawn.

Dawn's heart is to encourage the Body so that all would come to see the Christ-life as all-living, life-giving truth, that we would all walk in the Holy Spirit to such fullness that anyone we come in contact with comes in contact with the living God. (Ephesians 4:23-24) She has always liked writing and in March 2007, the Lord gave her 1 Peter 4:10-11 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. Dawn is very blessed to be married to her best friend, Ron, who continually nourishes her with the washing of the Word. They currently live in Oklahoma, and have two married sons, an adult daughter, six granddaughters and two grandsons.
