The fallout from the Turkish coup continues to be felt as Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan points the finger at cleric Fethullah Gulen who has been living in exile in Pennsylvania, and now the Turkish government is asking the United State to extradite Gulen.

More than 9,000 people are in detention following the attempted overthrow of Erdogan’s government and Erdogan is determined to get his hands on Gulen too.

Under the treaty the United States has with Turkey, America is not obligated to extradite a Turk accused of treason as Gulen has been and the Turkish government has not been forthcoming with any evidence that Gulen was, in any way, behind the coup as he is being accused.

We will continue to see Turkey transformed and not for the better as the government moves away from democracy and toward a more Islamic centered rule. This plays into end times prophecy but only time will tell
