Brief Update and Prayer Focus for those on the Journey
8/8/16
Apologies everywhere. The medical battle continues and it is hard. Here is a summary – the fight against the infection continues and it must either be won or controlled before the cancer fight can begin again. We were referred for genetic testing and have a lot of them in process. The bottom line is that at this moment we don’t have a medical plan for the cancer or the infection. Pray the doctors have wisdom to know how God wants them to continue the fight. We have all kinds of tests and meetings scheduled – we need God’s plan.
As you would expect God has been faithful every minute or we would not have made it. Your prayers and presence have been felt. Thank you for your continued partnership on the journey. I will communicate when I can. Please be patient.

More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
