“Pray without ceasing.” (I Thessalonians 5:17)
I have a fond memory of having lunch with my dad and his boss when I was about twelve. It was a tiny, greasy; mom and pop diner on Union Avenue in Bakersfield, California Dad’s boss, Charles, was buying so we probably had chicken fried steak (You can’t beat a good one in a place like that). Anyway, the meals came with a dinner salad, and when the waitress (Flo) took our orders, she asked what kind of dressing we each wanted on our salads. Charles said to her, “Thousand, and just when you think you have put too much on it, put some more on.”
To me, that was the funniest thing! (I have used that line myself a few times since then).
Beloved, when I say, “More prayer everywhere,” that is exactly what I mean! Just when you think you have prayed too much, pray some more! Come On, Church, Pray On! America needs you! The world needs you! Be a hero! Make a difference! Pray On!
