General Joseph Votel, head of U.S. Central Command, told reporters during a briefing Tuesday that recent at-sea activities by Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps patrol boats in the Persian Gulf have been “provocative” and “unsafe” adding “I am concerned about…rogue Iranian Quds force naval commanders who are operating in a provocative manner and are trying to test us.”
