Good Morning Beautiful People…Time With The King

This morning, I just wanted to continue to encourage you to persevere in prayer. This is no time to let up in prayer. We serve a covenant keeping God. His Word is yes and amen, and He is watching over His Word to perform it. (Jeremiah 1:12)

Luke 11:9-10 So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

Another key is that we must have the right motive.

James 4:2-3 You desire but do not have. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God.  When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

As God’s people come together with a time of prayer and repentance it will release the greatest outpouring of His spirit. It is time to intercede as never before as we stand in the gap on behalf of others, as well as entire nations.

Invite others to join you in prayer. The power in the prayer of agreement from Matthew 18:19 Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.

This past Friday evening, I had the privilege to join my faith with others at the Caribou Meeting Place in Caribou, Maine for the simulcast Cry Out a 3-hour nationwide prayer event for women. It was nice to see people from different denominations coming together praying for families, marriages, the unborn, etc. Maisie Grace and I were blessed to be a part.

Today, spend some time with the King. Today, get to know Him more intimately. Let him speak to you, and then obey. It will cost you, but only time. Time with the King there is no better way to start your day.

Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up you everlasting doors! And the king of Glory shall come in. Who is the King of Glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates, Lift up you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is the King of Glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the king of Glory. Psalm 24: 7-10
