We are in constant prayer over this Special session to deal with the termendous budget problems in New Mexico government. We pray our leaders will seek the face of our Lord Jesus Christ and His ways. There is no plan in place to solve this issue at this time. Governor Martinez has been working on trying to get an agreement, but no deal has been struck, thus, the call for a Special session. The death penalty and child abuse issues will also be on the table. This news comes on the heels of PNM getting the okay from the NM Public Regulation Commission for a 7.6% rate increase, a blow to consumers. ABQ Journal Report
