Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was on his way back to Israel Monday following a week in New York in which he addressed the UN General Assembly and met with US Presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. “It is important for Israeli citizens to know no matter the election results we will have a friend in the White House. The next president will continue the strong alliance between Israel and the United States,” Netanyahu told reporters as he flew home.
