Today let us turn to Acts 16……Acts 16:25 tells us….About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and signing hymns and praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. When is the last time you sang praises to God when you were facing a challenge? Paul and Silas has been attacked by a mob, beaten by soldiers, thrown in stocks, and shoved into a dark cistern, which served as a high-security prison cell. How did they react? With prayer and singing! Only the Holy Spirit can produce such complete submission to the Father’s Will.
You and I have a song to sing as well. Though your situation may feel overwhelming, are you willing to trust God in your circumstances?
