Before we get to the gloomy health care picture here in New Mexico, let me share this with you from NM Congressman Steve Pearce:

FGGAM NEWS just received this news release from NM Congressman Pearce’s Office:

Americans Cannot Continue to Shoulder Obama’s Failed Healthcare Law

Washington, DC (October 25, 2016) – Congressman Steve Pearce issued the following statement after the Obama Administration announced that many health care premiums will increase by double digits in 2017:

Yesterday’s confirmation that premiums will increase for 2017, many by double digits, reiterates the reality that this flawed plan has only caused higher costs, decreased access to care, and limited choice.  Hardworking Americans cannot continue to shoulder the consequences of this failed law anymore.  I remain committed to repealing and replacing Obamacare with patient-centered solutions  that will provide comprehensive health care for families,” said Congressman Steve Pearce.

In early January, the House passed H.R. 3762, the Restoring Americans’ Healthcare Reconciliation Act of 2015, a bill that targeted the most harmful provisions of Obamacare.  The President vetoed that legislation.
