Are You Carrying Your Candle?
Is the Holy Spirit leading your life every day? Are you ready to go a little higher today?
Let’s pray:
Father, you said that you sent me the Holy Spirit, the Advocate (John 14:26) and He will teach me all things and will remind me of everything you have said to me. Lead every reader today that wants a day full of the encounters of God and with God.
Your Word states man makes his plans, but you oh God, orders our footsteps. In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps. (Proverbs 16:9) Order out footsteps today and help my spirit to be sensitive to where I am journeying.
Open my eyes to see and my ears to hear what the spirit of the Lord is saying today. I want to see Jesus, as I journey my day. Make me sensitive to the ways of your spirit, Oh God. I want to be like you.
Lead me today to the path you have ordained for me before the foundations of the earth, that I may share it with another. (Jeremiah 1:5) Amen
