Beautiful Pumpkin…
Fall time is so beautiful here in Maine and here I go bragging again. The leaves are changing different colors every day and pumpkins are everywhere. This precious pumpkin Maisie Grace is truly a blessing from the Lord.
The best gift a grandmother can give their grandchildren is to pray for them and that I do. I have prayed faithfully for Maisie since the day her mother and father announced they would be bringing a child into the world.
Maisie and I have pray a lot together for all the children around the world. She usually gives a big smile when I ask her if she wants to pray with her grandma.
Psalm 127:3 Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.
Today the world is pulling for our children and grandchildren at a young age. The best gift a parent can give their child is to train them up in the ways of the Lord. Material items will fade away, but God’s Word does not return void. So today let’s take a moment and thank the Lord for the blessing of children and grandchildren all across this globe. Let’s join our faith for protection, for health, for a joyful life, rich in love and blessing and His Word.
Father, thank you for the gift of children and grandchildren. Today we join our faith, oh God, that you would dispatch your angels to watch over them. That they would not just learn about you God, but truly know you intimately.
I pray they would learn your Word at an early age and according to your Word they will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
Thank you for a harvest of children and grandchildren across this globe. It truly is harvest time. Amen
